At a time when Nigeria needs honest, steady leadership, I step forward to serve as a trusted voice for Ekiti North. As Irawo Owuro, I carry the hopes, energy, and aspirations of our people, committed to giving Ekiti North the strong, united representation it deserves.
My journey into public service is shaped by legacy and responsibility. Inspired by my father, Adebayo Owolabi (Isebere), a founding figure of the Alliance for Democracy in Ekiti, I continue that tradition of service under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Guided by the APC’s values of inclusion, reform, and accountability, I bring a clear focus on turning purpose into practical action; a leadership that delivers, not just promises.

Over the years, I have seen the hard work, resilience, and integrity of Ekiti people with pride. Yet, real challenges remain, from youth unemployment and education gaps to infrastructure deficits and limited federal presence. These issues deserve thoughtful solutions and consistent follow-through.
Ekiti’s youth are our greatest strength. My focus is on connecting skills to opportunity, not temporary placements, but meaningful employment. Through skills development, support for young entrepreneurs, and alignment with programmes like the Ekiti Youth Economic Empowerment Programme (EYEEP), the goal is clear: ensure training leads to jobs, enterprise growth, and long-term livelihoods.
Good roads and reliable infrastructure are not luxuries; they are essential. My focus is on fixing what matters most: roads, local transport, and basic infrastructure that connect communities, support trade, and make daily movement safer and easier. When infrastructure works, communities feel closer, businesses grow, and opportunities expand.
Ekiti North deserves representation that is present, accountable, and effective. I am committed to staying connected to our communities through open communication, honest engagement, and regular interaction. Strong representation means ensuring Ekiti North’s priorities are not only heard at the national level but followed through with visible outcomes.
Education and healthcare shape the future of every community. My focus is on strengthening existing schools through trained teachers and better infrastructure, while supporting APC-led initiatives such as AGILE and ongoing public-school rehabilitation, especially in rural areas. In healthcare, the priority is clear: stronger facilities that provide reliable, affordable care closer to home, because no family should struggle to access basic health services.
Women and small business owners are the backbone of our communities. Through skills training, access to finance, mentorship, and market opportunities, including federal initiatives like MarketMoni and TraderMoni, more women and entrepreneurs can build sustainable businesses and create jobs. When women thrive, families and communities grow stronger.
Development works best when communities move as one. I am committed to strengthening cooperation between local groups, traditional institutions, professionals, and government bodies. By building trust and encouraging shared effort, progress becomes balanced, inclusive, and lasting across Ekiti North.
